Independent Recording Artist Ari Gold is bringing his award winning music to fans around the globe on his own terms. 2005 marks the release of Ari Gold: The Photobook. Published by Bruno Gmunder and available in stores in over 25 countries, the 96-page hardcover coffee-table book comes with a limited edition Remix CD simply titled: The Remixes. The lead single, “Love Will Take Over” (also from his Outmusic Award winning sophomore album Space Under Sun) is currently climbing up the Billboard dance charts and is featured on iTunes Essentials “Deep Cuts” along with Elton John, Donna Summer and Erasure. The “Love Will Take Over” video includes live footage from Ari’s Space Under Sun World Tour.
Released in 2004, Ari’s sexy and soulful sophomore album Space Under Sun further solidified his status as a gay icon by debuting at #1 on the Outvoice charts, landing him on the cover of countless gay magazines around the world and receiving raves in trade papers like Billboard and HITS. Metro Source NY put Ari on their “25 people That Make Us Proud” list, alongside Barbra Streisand, Harvey Firestein, Ellen Degeneres and Hugh Jackman. His first single, “Wave Of You,” was featured on iTunes Essentials along with hits by Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and Cher. The “Wave Of You” video has been shown on VH-1, HBO Zone and LOGO as well as in clubs across the country on Rock America and For Promo Only. Ari was also featured in the highly rated VH-1 special, “My Coolest Years: In The Closet.”
On his Space Under Sun World Tour, Ari headlined clubs and festivals overseas (France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Canada) and in over 25 cities across the U.S., including the world’s largest stage at the Reno Hilton. He also performed also at NYC venues Joe’s Pub, BAM (Brooklyn Academy Of Music) and the Roxy. At the awards ceremony held this year in Chicago, Ari received his second Outmusic Award for the 2005 Album of the Year (Male).

In support of same sex unions, Ari contributed to the HRC benefit album Love Rocks, which included Christina Aguilera, Dolly Parton, and Cyndi Lauper. He also contributed to ACLU’s Marry Me along with RuPaul, and continues to extend his time and money to many charities and causes.
After making his UK debut in 2001 on the legendary Top Of The Pops with the Top 10 single “I’m All About You” (Island Universal) produced by Desmond Child, Ari returned home to the U.S to win the 2002 Outmusic Award for his self-titled debut album. Released on his own label, GOLD 18 Records, the groundbreaking debut album received critical acclaim for including love songs sung by a man to another man -- something that was unheard of in the R&B/Soul/Pop genre. Musically, the CD anticipated pop music’s movement to a more R&B sound. That year he was named one of Genre magazine’s “Men We Love” and was featured in music and fashion magazines VIBE and W.
Ari grew up an orthodox Jew in the Bronx and currently resides in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
